Ethel Mae Loffer
Ethel M. Loffer Bowman passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. She attended rural school and graduated from Shelton High School in 1932. She worked at Baldwins in Kearney for 21 years and retired in 1981. After her husbands death she continued to live in her home in Shelton. Ethel was a member of the Shelton United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge in Shelton. At the time of her death, Ethel had 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
Ethel married James Howard Bowman on 3 Oct 1934 in Shelton, Buffalo, Nebraska. (James Howard Bowman was born on 1 Jun 1903 in Shelton, Buffalo, Nebraska, died on 22 Jan 1993 in Shelton, Buffalo, Nebraska and was buried in Shelton, Buffalo, Nebraska.)
