Information from Steven Coulter:

"I was told 40 years ago that Marvel died of leukemia. Her niece Gwen says Marvel;s death certificate says "acute indigestion" and obit says she died from eating too many blackberries. I suspect her young body was already weakened from leukemia. Maybe our solution is to just omite the cause of death."
