"William Esch, formerly a resident of Brush Valley Township, died at his home in Dull, Somerset County, early last Wednesday morning. He was aged about 50 years and had been sick for several years with consumption and asthma. He is survived by his wife and four daughters. His remains were brought to Brush Valley on Friday and were interred in the Bethel Cemetery Saturday Morning."
