Cora Jane Calhoun farmed with her husband in the Santa Anna Community, near Argos, for many years. She was a member of the SantaAnna United Methodist Church and the woman's club of the church, aformer member of the Maxinkuckee Rebekah Lodge, Green Township FarmBureau, and Izaak Walton League of Green.

Cora married Donald Asa Calhoun, son of Thomas Calhoun and Lovina Cooper, on 5 Nov 1924 in Culver, Marshall County, Indiana.
