Daniel Milton Lauffer

  General Notes:

Daniel was in the Civil War - Army, Service 9 of 1861 to 6-3-1865, Co. F., 11th, P.V.I. (Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry) Pvt. He was captured on March 31, 1865 and then discharged by General Order on June 3, 1865.

The old family Bible was in the hands of Daniel, Jr., and to him we are indebted for much of the material in the Daniel Lauffer section. The family was residing in Apollo Pennsylvania.

Daniel married Angeline Muffley on 26 Mar 1868. (Angeline Muffley was born on 1 Feb 1847, died on 24 Feb 1916 and was buried in St. James Cemetery, Salina, PA.)
