Alice J. Wigle, 78, of Deltona, Fla., formerly of Irwin, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, in the Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, Orange City, Fla. She was born Nov. 29, 1924, in Irwin, a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Katherine Heefner McGrail. Prior to retirement, she was a librarian at Immaculate Conception School in Irwin for more than 10 years. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Charles M. Wigle; three sons, Charles T. "Tom" Wigle and his wife, Charlotte, of Leesburg, Fla., John M. "Jack" Wigle, of Deltona, Fla., and David P. Wigle and his wife, Carletta, of Tarrs; a daughter, Mary L. Brentzel and her husband, Eric, of Deltona, Fla.; five grandchildren, Jackie Bannon and her husband, Jesse, of Deltona, Linda Wigle and Charlie Wigle, both of Tarrs, Eric Brentzel Jr., of Sanford, Fla., and Matthew Brentzel, of Deltona, Fla.; and a great-grandson, Patrick Ian Bannon, of Deltona, Fla. Visitation Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the DELTONA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, Orange City, Fla. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Clare Catholic Church, Deltona, Fla. Interment will follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens.

Alice married Charles M. Wigle Jr., son of Charles M. Wigle and Clara Good.
