Frank Painter Lauffer, 74, of Irwin, died Sunday morning in Westmoreland Hospital at Greensburg. He was born in Irwin, November 4, 1880, a son of the late Simon and Catherine Painter Lauffer and was a lifelong resident of the community. Prior to his retirement in 1933, he was a chemical engineer for the Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
Frank married Ethel M. Davis about 1915. (Ethel M. Davis was born about 1887 in Pennsylvania and died in Dec 1962 in Irwin, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.)
