Lee worked at General Tire in Wabash for 43 years and was a grain farmer. He was past governor of the Loyal Order of the Moose in North Manchester, past president of the Akron Lions Club and a member of Masonic Lodge 79, Rochester, and Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine, both of Fort Wayne. He was a volunteer fireman at General Tire and a life member of the American Fishing Club.
